Amid the turmoil following Mohbad’s death, Nigerian artist Zinoleesky seems to have created his own entertainment company. Zinoleesky, whose U.S. tour was recently called off by the event organizer, appears to have moved away from Marlian Music and established his own independent record label just a few days after Mohbad’s unexpected passing.
Remember that Mohbad, a 27-year-old artist formerly signed with Marlian Music, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, under mysterious circumstances.

Zinoleesky appears to have distanced himself.
His death has triggered a significant controversy on social media, with many criticizing his former label boss, Naira Marley, for allegedly subjecting him to persistent mistreatment.
People have also initiated mass unfollowing of Naira Marley on social media and have been disapproving of his music and record label.
Zinoleesky received criticism for remaining silent while Mohbad was reportedly mistreated by Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry.
Before Mohbad’s death, Zinoleesky’s Instagram bio did not mention any record label. However, in a recent update, the 27-year-old singer has included “Zinonymous Sounds” in his bio.
Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed that he has severed ties with Marlian Music, there is speculation that his decision to promote his personal brand, ‘Zinonymous Sounds,’ is influenced by the negative attention currently surrounding Marlian Music on the internet.
