Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, the Chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, has issued a stern warning to Igbo voters in Lagos state ahead of the March 11 governorship and State Assembly elections.
Note that on February 25th, Peter Obi, the LP presidential flagbearer, defeated Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in his stronghold, and won the presidential election in Lagos State.

Obi received 582,454 votes in Lagos, defeating Tinubu who received 572,606 votes and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who received 75,750 votes.
Following Obi’s performance in Lagos during the presidential elections, his supporters have promised to do the same for Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the governorship candidate.
The All Progressive Chieftain, Mc Oluomo, issued a warning to Igbo voters in the state at a recent party gathering with the theme “Lagos Rising,” advising them to stay home on election day if they weren’t planning to support the ruling party.
The APC leader warned the Igbos in Yoruba that if they continued to support their candidate, they would suffer the consequences notwithstanding their pleas.
In his words:
Iya Chukwudi, if you do want to vote for us, abeg sit down for home ooo, we have begged you people, don’t come out on election day.
