The body of National Youth Corps member Oreoluwa Aina, 28, who died in the March 9 railway disaster in Lagos, has been laid to rest.
Aina was one of the six victims whose passing had been formally decreed by the state administration.


The deceased corps member was buried on Saturday at the Atan cemetery while working for the Lagos State Ministry of Education’s Curriculum Services Department in Alausa.
A delegation of the state government led by the Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo was present at the burial.

The deceased’s family members and Yetunde Baderinwa, the state coordinator for NYSC, were also there.
A personnel bus for the Lagos State Government was crushed by a passenger train as it traveled from Ikotun to Alausa, the state secretariat, in the state’s PWD district.
It happened around 7:00 in the morning.
